I'm listening to The Sensational Alex Harvey Band at the moment, their song Vambo Marble Eye, which has a ferocious take on the Bo Diddley beat.

So ... what are your favorite songs with that particular beat? Cause if you don't know Bo, you just don't know.

There was a band in Chicago called Vambo Marble Eye, and they did an abbreviated cover album of "Jesus Christ Superstar". I didn't know the name had heritage.

I remember seeing their name around occasionally. I never had a chance to see them.
