Holiday on film

So, seeing as how I am on my own this weekend, I have spent a lot of time watching movies ... Last night was the Discovery Channel's brilliant documentary on this years Everest attempt. Just stunning and frightening and enlightening. Before and after that it was various Monty Python episodes and bits, and today it is the extended dance remix of King Kong. Later, who knows. Any recommendations of stuff that is on TV ???

I just caught an episode of "Afterlife" on BBC America and I have to say that Nanci and I were both really impressed by this show. I won't go into much, but the writing is good, the acting top notch (surprising for a weekly series anywhere) and the concept handled in a novel way.

We have put it on our "must see or DVR" list.
