Not at all! It's not as though there's only a limited amount of possible voting-without-clue, so any your poll sucks up can't be used in the election. It goes the other way -- you get people used to voting without a clue, and they fail to notice that they're doing something bad when something important is on the line!

Not specifically, but encouraging people to vote on things without any information or explanation of what they're voting for is reinforcing the same habit that manifests itself as voting for the candidate that looks cutest on TV.
