I have not done a Foreman Award poll in ages, but this week I felt the need.

Our first contestant is Bob Kearns, president of the Loma Linda Homeowners Association in Pagosa Springs Colorado. He is threatening to fine a local resident $25 dollars a day because she has a peace sign wreath on her house. His reasoning ... "some say is an anti-Iraq war protest or a symbol of Satan.

And from last week, comedian Michael Richards, who some of you may remember from the TV show Fridays (and from some other sitcom too, can't think of the name of it at the moment). Some people came in late, were ordering drinks and he ... well ... you all know what he did by now.

So ... who is more deserving of the award ???

[Poll #876414]

And a special thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pheltzer for pointing this one out ... show up at my house by midnight tonight for your No-Prize

A sick part of my brain says you need to produce some sort of award certificate to send to the "winners" of these awards. Just to let them know that we're thinking of them. :)

My grandma also thought the peace symbol was a sign of satan. Someting to do with norse runes? I am pretty sure it has no historical significance outside of the peace movement. Go figure. They will be opposed to the latin alphabet next. And with better reason. Those Romans...

I remeber reading a looooong time ago, (Back when there were books...) that the peace symbol is an upside down broken cross. Just thought I'd add that...

I vote they should share all the love the award entails

I had already voted before I saw the clincher...

Kearns asked the homeowner's committee to require removal of the wreath. He then fired them all when they refused.

Can you say "power trip"? I knew you could...
