Never really been all that impressed by Swiss Army, either Victornox or Wenger.

Their individual blades are shiny and precise, but often at the expense of utility.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with this comment.

I'd rather have a couple of tools on my belt (or in my pocket) that will get the job done then have a single tool that MIGHT.

I think I still have the gerber that I got from Wayne when he upgraded and have purchased a couple more over the course of the last 15 years. I keep one in my tackle box for fishing.
