Ya know, SW Wisconsin is really lovely. There was a detour, that I am fairly certain had nicer views than the regular road. It took me about as long as the drive there, and no bad traffic ... at all ... unlike the last hour of the drive there that was sheer bumper to bumper delight.

I had a great weekend. I needed this weekend very badly. Life has been a little weird lately. My wife and I separated a couple weeks ago, so this may be my last con in a very long time. I'm not going to go into it much more than that here, but I know that a couple people were wondering about some comments I made here and there. Don't worry too much, I am as fine as one can be under the circumstance.

More on the con later, after I look to see what I already wrote.

Good to hear the weekend was what you needed.
*hugs* about the seperation...as someone who went through a divorce this kind of stuff is never easy.

Take care.

Sorry to hear regarding the domestic stuff, Eric. Glad that the con was a good thing though.

I am terribly sorry to hear about the separation. The divorce from my first wife wasn't even remotely easy, and even "trial separations" can be extremely stressful. I'm not sure I get it as to how the separation will lead to your not attending any mroe cons, but it's your business. *Hugs* and continue to keep us posted as you see fit.
