1. What is your favorite word?
OOh, that's a hard one. Marvelous is great.

2. What is your least favorite word?
irregardless, which isn't really a word. It irritates me.

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Spiritually: Someone who believes what they believe with no regrets, who doesn't attack what they don't believe as if it's a threat.
Emotionally: openness and lovingness.
Creatively: the act of being creative without being smug about it. Or not too smug. ;-)

4. What turns you off?
Stupidity and willful ignorance.

5. What is your favorite curse word?
Shit. It just fills a void.

6. What sound or noise do you love?
Someone laughing, or whistling.

7. What sound or noise do you hate?
Harsh, sharp, out-of-nowhere sounds.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
The two things I always thought I'd do were go to seminary or go to law school.

9. What profession would you not like to do?
I could be flip and say "Law or the Clergy" but instead I'll say the truth, which is anything to do with medicine in a modern western sense.

It's when people make assumptions or interpretations of my behaviour (incorrectly) without discussing the situation with me FIRST. (Now that I'm on LJ, I probably should make my LJ required reading for anyone who thinks they want to be my friend so I'm not misunderstood all the time.)

5. What is your favorite curse word?
I'm ashamed to say that it's the "F" word. Since it's on my mind all the time, it's kind of apropos though.

6. What sound or noise do you love?
Certain voices like Phil Collins, Adam English and Jonathan Coulton.
No, I'm not totally into music at all. The ocean isn't bad either. ;-)

7. What sound or noise do you hate?
My alarm clock's buzzer. Oh, how I'd love the smash the thing through the wall some mornings. Sigh, at least it gets me up in time for work.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
My secret dream is to be a backup singer for a music studio. I guess it's not so secret any more. Is there such a thing as a professional wife and mother?

9. What profession would you not like to do?
Two come to mind: missionary in a foreign country and janitor in a hospital or raw sewage plant. The reason is the same for both - I'm kind of protective about my health.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
"I love you my child. I know I didn't give you a mate to be "god with skin on" to you, but I'll never let you go now."
