Upcoming shows. More reminders as they get closer as well
August 25-27 JVL-Con
And since it seems to be official now, I would also like to recommend this con for another reason other than that it's a great little con and Luke and I will be there. Gary Hanak will be at the con. His song The Farmer is my vote for purt darn near the best filk song I have ever heard. He rarely plays outside St Louis, this will be his 2nd road trip this year. If you like great filk you have to come see Gary. He needs to record a CD ...
Labor Day Weekend The Semi-Annual Constitutional Convention for DMSFS. It's an all weekend party with camping and such at a farm just north of Des Moines. I will probably play some music at some point, but mostly we'll all be hanging out and having a great time. You can also meet the WSPA there.
September 8th Hairy Mary's opening for Ocho
September 23rd Tillie's Bean in Minneapolis. If you come out to this, it gives me an excuse to come up to the Twin Cities more often (since I can book more shows there if I draw an audience)
