Judging from the answers of the Gazete editor, the drop was arbitrary. He seems to really go out go his way to not give a reason for their decision. It was "just her overall presentation", "the general content", yadda-yadda. I'd much rather she'd been dropped for something specific. I'd love to know how she was misrepresenting the views of Iowa conservatives. I'd love to know how her rhetoric and their views differ. I think it would be very valuable information with which to counter the war-drum beating, hate-mongering pundits and the people who actually vote for the politicians those pundits hoist aloft on rhetorical petards. As it is, se's just a wag replaced by another, with little meaty reason into which one could sink their teeth.
It could be that something recent became the final straw. In that case, I wouldn't necessarily want to name it, either. Or are they just trying to avoid open confrontation with Ms. Coulter?
