At Conquest. The drive was nice, and quick. I have connectivity. We'll see if the rest of the weekend goes so smoothly.

Tonight? Decompressing a bit, i hope....
Tomorrow, tatting at alymid's, Sunday taking the xaplings to see Over the Hedge, and Monday cleaning house. Woo me, yay excitement.

I got invited to Conquest. But since my car crash, my ankle still feels stiff after just an hour round trip of driving, and walking around grocery stores. Imagine how I'd feel after a drive from Chicago to Kansas City, followed by walking around a con for 4 days. I also had an offer to visit friends in Springfield, MO, about 2 1/2 hours south of KC, but... no. Not if I'm the only driver.

I also had an offer to go to Marcon, and pick up a couple friends in Indianapolis, and they could drive halfway. That would've been a better plan, but stil... no. My ankle is not happy with me, so maybe some other con.

I'll find something to do this weekend, even with everyone I know leaving town, or having fun with "family". I don't seem to have a biological family anymore, but I'm living with fans, so... that works! :)
