Although I tend to dislike the stuff that he wrote (although he gets BIG points for writing Rainbow Connection) I do still consider him one of the great living songwriters.
It's all right. I'm sad I could not go, but I went last year and I got to have lunch with Winslow Leach and Gerrit 'Beef' Graham! I'll tell you that story when next we meet!
Did not know about the Swanarchives, though! Thanks!
Gerrit is a very nice guy. I did the Beef dance for him at Phantompolooza and he went nuts. Dinner was great as I talked to both of them about Brain De Palma and his films. Gerrit came up with the Antler belt in the famous, "What Was Thaaat?" scene.

I have him on the Muppet Show on DVD. He and Jim must have gotten along.
