ericcolemanOk, fandom is a small community. I run into folks all over and frequently find it hard to remember where I met them.
This is the oddest connection I have though.
When I was 15 I went to a british school. You can see it in my school listings. My father was in England doing research on Buffalo Bill (actually he was researching british women more, but he had just gotten divorced so that is to be expected). I went to Highgate Wood Secondary School.

naomikritzer asking WHY I had gone to this particular school. Turns out that she had gone to the school a decade later under pretty much the exact same circumstance. So ... we went to the same school, under the same circumstance ... add to that.
We are both in fandom, met through livejournal and ... we know a bunch of the same people, but had never actually met till this last weekend.
So what is your strangest connection in this community?
