Can you think of someone who you think might fit the genre ... whatever it is ... cause I know my punk rock ... and I have no idea what you mean ...

Im thinking that I am thinking english (british) punk rock scene, circa 70s ish.

That's just good old fashioned punk rock. I have a lot of that on my computer ... bugs the people I work with, but that's the point I suppose
