The guitar chiropractor

I took Prince Tisanne to the guitar chiropractor tuesday. He returned from a nice restful vacation today sounding all purty.

Now I need to get Martin in ... he needs a fret job and some work on his neck. Poor guy

My bass needs some bridgework... how much should I expect a luthier to charge to glue in a taler bridge? If I grind the frets down, it just makes the problem migrate further down the neck...

I do note that your guitars have proper names. I like this and generally do it myself, although with the number of guitars I own, I've only named the most important ones. "Martin" is obviously a Martin; what kind of guitar is the Prince? And druidsfire, do I know you, and what kind of bass (both style and the make and model of the instrument) do you play? (Note that in some cases my "proper names" are a little too easy and obvious. My cherry red Ibanez Artist is just "Cherry," and the white Ibanez solid body is "Whitey," for instance. I gave them these names probably as a last resort before deciding it was too much hassle to name all of them.)
