Yup, head over heels (which is you think about it, is not really that special, you spend most of your waking hours, and many of your sleeping hours head over heels, really, think about it).

It's a guitar ...

a small bodied (not quite parlor size) Alvarez, all mahogany ... with a lovely dark finish and one of the sweetest voices I have heard in ages.

and I can't afford it ... pout ... I've been looking for something like this for years now.

Keep an eye out... mahogany-bodied parlor guitars are a thing of beauty. I ran across a used Santa Cruz a while back that I just adored. Damned thing was $1500, though.

Nick Drake recorded all his albums with a student-sized all-mahogany Guild, basically a parlor guitar. Love that sound.

of curiousity...

since many of the things I wait for endlessly to acquire often cost stupidly large amounts of money (1970 Plymouth Superbird, $400K) i often wonder about the price of sane people's dreams...

What does the guitar in question run?
