Newdow told the ACLU of Oklahoma that the national motto on U.S. currency is a violation of the separation of church and state. He is offended because he is an atheist. He wants to use the Federal courts to make his atheism the official religion of America.

He's getting smarter, though...he's mostly gotten away from polls (where you have to count the "no" votes) and into petitions (where only "yes" votes are counted)...much easier to spin the numbers if you only have the numbers you agree with...

I don't have TOO many issues with "In God We Trust" as a motto, especially when printed on money.

I just wish they'd print the ENTIRE quote.

He doesn't have to use money. He could write checks and/or use a credit card.

Might make doing the laundry kinda tricky, but that's his problem.
