Get an AeroBed. It sounds extravagent, but they really work if you're tent is big enough. T and I have been using one for camping at Oshkosh for a number of years now, inflating it with a little Rat Shack inverter off the car battery. Works great.
Actually, you may want to check into a camp cot :) A bit taller, so easier to get off of the floor from; surprisingly comfy too. Friend lent me one when i went to summer camp last month as my air mattress had died recently...wasn't a deluxe model, but still did fine for an entire week :) Depending on just how big the tent is, you may be able to fit in a deluxe one too, and overall cots are about the same price as a decent-quality mattress. Just some thoughts :)
