Some of you I hardly know at all, but you friended me and I thank you. But here's a thought: Why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she wears mismatched socks." I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this...especially those who rarely or never comment. Yes, even you people who I know really well.

I used to write music. It pains my slightly to state it that way, but I literally have not touched a guitar in at least two years. Perhaps that will change again someday. It was never central to my identity, but people said I was good at it, so it seems worthwhile not to summarily eliminate it from my list of hobbies.

If making music doesn't bring you joy, don't force yourself to do it, but if you like it, I hope you'll come back to it. I enjoy your songs.


And I'm moving to Florida in August.

*boggle* *sigh* How are we ever to improve the quality of life in C-U if the few cool people that come to town leave again so soon?
