Since my last frankenstein laptop died, I have not had an html editor.

What I need

A decent WYSIWYG editor that is relatively easy to use and isn't too expensive.

Any ideas ???

I am in desperate need of updating my webpage.

I'm with Mary, Textpad is a nice little program. I also like UltraEdit, which I think will run you between $30 and $50 for a registered version (it, unlike Textpad, does disable itself after the trial period). It's got a few more robust features than Textpad, but isn't WYSIWYG unless its changed recently.

For the love of all things holy (and not holy, for that matter) don't use Front Page. I'll have to hunt you down and beat you.

As for what I use, I'm a Dreamweaver convert (although I still write my own code and don't use the WYSIWYG bits) at work, I use WebSphere Application Developer, but that's way more than what you need for a home site and is really pricy besides.

Oh, but GlobalScape (the makers of CuteFTP) put out a package of software called CuteHTML that's supposed to be pretty nice, but I've never used it.
