A new version

For the first time in ages I have found a new version if Stairway to Heaven. In this case Dash Rip Rock's Stairway To Freebird.

WAY funny, even at just over a minute long.

It's probably my second favorite serious version, right after the Fargone Beauties version from the Stairways CD.

There is a CD called Stairways. It is all versions of Stairway to Heaven done by tribute bands, in the style of their band. the 65 Beatlepop and the Doors versions are my current faves.

I also have (as mentioned above) Dolly Parton doing a bluegrass version (it's brilliant), Frank Zappa doing a big band version, Tiny Tim and Brave Combo doing a lounge version and of course Little Roger And The Goosebumps brilliant Stairway To Gilligan's Island and many many more.
