So yesterday they were spelling my name TBD on their webpage

Now they are spelling it correctly.

Geeze, I am so much a geek. I consider it official now that it's on the webpage.

When I was a GOH, I was lucky to even be invited to the con, let alone have my name on the website.

Actually, there is some sad truth to that -- spiritdance and I were the InterFilk guests at a con, and though IF announced this in November the year before the con, the con website didn't list us, or the Folk GOHs, until less than a week before the con.

Arguably, it's official when they've bought your plane tickets. :) But I'd agree -- seeing it on the website (or on the flyers) means that they've officially announced it to the world.
