I messed up my phone's headset jack. So I was shopping for phones. I drive so much, I just can't talk on the phone without a headset. I can't hear it very well, and I hate holding it up to my ear.

I went into the local Best Buy. I talked with one guy who said he didnt know the phones very well, so he went looking for someone who did. In the meantime, I was standing by the phones and waiting. Another sale geek came by, talked for a moment, told me he knew nothing about the phones, I told him I wasa waiting for someone who did. He then asked ...

"So, you're looking for a phone?"

It's rare that I am speechless. I did tell him that it was a masterful sales technique.

Heh. yea the rapture letters are for real. there's another website somewhere (sorry, don't remember the URL) that speculates how close we might be to the rapture based on political climate and certain pre-set conditions that are supposed to happen before the 2nd coming (rebuilt temple in jerusalem, etc...)

of course, that still brings us to the fact that only a few sects of christianity accept the rapture (the sudden, complete, immediate, BODILY assumption of TRUE Believers to heaven, presaging 1000 years of the rule of the antichrist presaging the 2nd coming of christ) as ...er..."reality"

my favorite response to the "in the event of rapture this car will be unmanned" stickers is one that goes "in the event of rapture, can i have your car?"
