That Alan Keyes is sticking to his convictions

“I deeply resent the destruction of federalism represented by Hillary Clinton's willingness to go into a state she doesn't even live in and pretend to represent people there, so I certainly wouldn't imitate it,"

Yes, but since there's no danger of him actually winning, he doesn't have to worry about violating his convictions by serving as a Senator from Illinois.

It was also nice to notice that, while race certainly played a part in his being selected to run against Obama, race has nothing to do with that particular election.

Actually, caught it this afternoon. And of COURSE it's okay when he does it. He's black.

Well, he did start out the day by basically accusing Barack Obama of being an Uncle Tom (actual quote was: "I would still be picking cotton if the country's moral principles had not been shaped by the Declaration of Independence," Keyes said. He said Obama "has broken and rejected those principles -- he has taken the slaveholder's position.")

Wow... I'm kinda glad I missed that comment.

Um, disregarding that slavery was in full flower long after said declaration... I'd point out that he might not be picking cotton.
As a graduate of Harvard Law, he might be a valuable domestic servant.

Fetch me a drink, boy! And run for Senate!

As a one-time Republican, I hope Obama crushes the SHIT out of this guy.

Not that it's hugely important to me liking you more or anything cause I already do like you but what is your "political side"? I am a curious one to know.
