Ok ... let's get this off my chest right now ...

NO ONE should have to follow the insane behemoth that is The Worm Quartet ... I had to ... I wouldn't wish it on anyone ... especially because I was watching him when I should have been warming up ... that said ... I put on a good show ...

Let me see if I can remember what I played ... it ended up being a short set ... first ...

I covered a WQ song ... with Shoebox's help ... an acoustic version of Mommy's Broken (you had to be there)
Oh Shannon
Hey Dad
Trophy Wife
Golden Age Of Silicon (with Shoebox on vocals ... VERY cool)
WYSIWYG
Low Self Esteem

I might have done one more ... but I can't remember now. It was a good solid set met with an exhausted audience ...

Earlier in the day I played in the Dementia Smack Down ... I did a cover (Marie Provost ... some folks in the front row went into hysterics ... turns out they are big Nick Lowe fans) which got the most wonderful look of disgust from so many of the audience ... and big applause ...

I sold enough CDs to pay for the weekend and then a little more ... won some fans ... and they want me back next year ...

a good time was had ... the 2nd day was a little of a let down after the first night ... but I suppose it would have to be ...

A couple more things

I gave Dr D a copy of a Squirrels comp I made ...

and he said he was going to listen to my stuff again ... and hopefully play some more ... I ahve to get the new version of WYSIWYG done ...

Hey man! Thanks for the kind words...it was awesome to share a stage (read: "small area in front of a TV in a hotel room in front of 15 people") with you again.

Hope you enjoy the new disc, dammit!!
