really ... I went to a former open mike/jam session last night ... the guy who had run it has taken it over for his own gig now ... bummer ...

the guy who runs the songwriters night at a place in DSM might get me in in August ... bummer ...

I'm sending demo CDs to a couple of bookers next week ... to see if I can get opening sets for touring acts ... dont expect much ...

I guess I need to find stuff outta town ...

There is a coffee shop here (Luna cafe) that does singer / songwriter type of stuff

You might want to contact them first before sending CD's - they are very small and sometimes book anyone that offers (though I doubt they pay at all)
