We have shows coming up in the next two weeks here in Ames and a couple shows out of town in January.

This Thursday and next we will be at Ames British Foods from 4:30-7. This week will be all three of us, next week will be just Lizzie and I. There is a Facebook event here.

January 12 there will be a house concert at David & Erin's in Champaign. There is a Facebook event here. You do need to RSVP for that one. It will be a trio show.

January 25th we will be appearing at Conflikt, the Pacific NorthWest Filk Convention. We will have a special guest fiddler for that show.

We are working on getting more shows in the new year. If you know of a place that would be good for us or want to host a house concert, let us know!

Why, seeing has how I was up till 1am playing music with Chas, Becca, Graham, Bonnie and more, that I am up and awake at 8:30. Explain even more why they have already gone to breakfast and will be heading home shortly.

Yesterday may have been the most fun we have had in this house. Riverfolk played a marvelous show, first in the living room, then , as the weather cleared, out on the deck. The music circle started outside and went till it was too dark. We moved everyone in and played till just after midnight.

A bunch of folks showed up. Food was had. The new awning fits the deck wonderfully. It was a great great day.

There will be more house concerts coming up, we're working on one now for later in the summer or early fall.

You are getting this message because at some point you were silly enough to express an interest in my music. If you would like me to not send you these ever again (and I'll probably only send something like this out a couple times a year) just email me back telling me to stop it.

Hey there ... I'm sending emails out once again to remind folks that I am doing a house concert in Waukegan IL October 4th @ 7pm. It is at the home of my friends Evan and Alyse. For directions email mastervnone@yahoo.com. I will be doing songs from my newest CD, Some See The Glass Half Empty, songs from my first CD, Fear And Self Loathing In Central Iowa, some new songs and maybe, if you are real nice, some oddball cover versions.

Both CDs will be for sale at the show and there will be a request for a donation (ain't there always ??? Please help support my appalling behaviour) The first pressing of SSTGHE is almost sold out and I expect them to disappear at this show.

My show will be followed by a house sing so if you play, bring an instrument and sing us some songs.
