I'd offer, but I'm staying in a different hotel & commuting. I pricelined it and got a room for about $40-50 per night in a place that's about 3-4 miles away and has shuttles both between hotels and to and from the airport. The con hotel really ticked me off last year, making me wait about an hour past checkin time then putting me in a "non-smoking" room that reeked of smoke, making me come back and wait again for another room.
May I recommend checking priceline for a similar deal? Specify the Worthington area and hotels of 3 to 3 1/2 stars or higher, and I think you can even specify hotels with shuttle service. Start the bid around $35 a night and work your way up. I think you have to wait a day between bids if you get turned down, but don't raise your bid more than $5 each time.
Seriously, you could taxi back and forth and still save money.
Make a reservation with a non smoking room, contact OVFF hotel person. They can fix this. (I did so on my reservation and they had it fixed within 24 hours.)
I just made a reservation. There are still non-smoking rooms available, just not in the room block (which means it's actually a little cheaper if you have AAA, but no breakfast coupons). I have an email in to the hotel liaison as hms42 suggested, and will let you know how it goes.
