There is probably some question now as to the fate of the guest status of the Filk Fund guests - the DucKon Filk Fund was promoted and run pretty much exclusively by Jan. I heard that the fund was pretty much depleted this year by expenses incurred. Without Jan to tirelessly promote and replenish the fund, it will probably languish and disappear. That would mean the con would have to cough up the money to cover the Filk Fund guests - something I suspect they won't be willing to do...
