That I didn't give a lot of folks background on my experience Thursday.

The last year has been horrible physically. I put on weight, but more important, I slowed down. Shows with the band were a strain ... walking across the room was sometimes a strain.

So a couple months ago I started working. Not a lot, mostly walking. I walk a mile and a half around the warehouse every day. I was playing the drums, I have my practice pad set upstairs where I work. There is a room that is a combination recording studio/practice space. I've been working hard.

I'm down about 15 lbs. I am already feeling the difference in my life. And this weekend really showed that the work I have done has paid off.

I, too, have a weight problem, and (with some encouragement from Louie) I am trying to do some walking every day. I was not at my peak (peaked at 226, have been at 215-216 lately) but am down to 212 as of last night. I am very happy for you that you are getting results. It's too bad that you and I are in different cities, as you and I taking long walks in company (and with other people, as they choose to join in) could be fun. Or maybe I should make a deal with some company that owns a warehouse. In any event, congratulations and keep up the good work.
