One of these days I really should attend a recording of Wait Wait, since it's in the Chicago area and all.

WWDTM is funny. Whad'Ya Know? gets old real fast.

Absolutely agreed. Feldman has jumped the shark.

P.S. Count me in if you can get tickets and want to go to a taping. I'd love to join you.

Yup. Had a great time. Some day I'll have to go back. I like Whadaya Know, but since they pulled it from the local station, I haven't listened much. I do have the Whadaya Know game from Out of the Box games, complete with Michael Feldman Bobblehead, but it really doesn't work well unless you have a sizable group.

I voted for Wait, Wait, which fan Perianne Lurie appeared on back in 2000.

*nods* These results really don't surprise me. Feldman has been trying too hard for awhile now; I turn him off because he annoys me.

OTOH, we've caught WWDTM while driving somewhere and I've been convulsed with laughter. Wow, news guys being funny, who'da thunk it? We listened on Valentine's day while stuck in traffic that we shouldn't have been stuck in and it kept us entertained rather than being annoyed on a day you really don't want to be annoyed.

How's that for a run-on sentence? Heck, I can even do better than that, some days1

Jeff and I have also gone, several times - it's a blast.

Yeah. It isn't that I don't enjoy parts of Feldman's show, but WWDTM is consistently more better and I adore the announcer. The fit he threw when Leonard Nimoy was on the show was enough to endear him to me for life - he was such a raging fanboy, it was adorable.

You must include me in that. Or not, I know you really don't like me so maybe not.

*tragic sigh* Nobody loves me. No, it's okay. Really. I'm fine, over here, by myself, eating worms. *sniffle*

Oh, you whiner. My worm soup is the delight of three continents and hasn't killed anyone. Recently enough to really be concerned about, anyway.

And of course you'll pay for the tickets. We're not bums, we're all just good at finding an easy mark.
