Sorry, but I completely disagree. McCain's act was slow-paced and thoroughly mediocre, and he only made it less noticeable by closing with his best joke - a meta comment that built nicely as it cheekily set Obama up for failure. Kinda clever, but also quite cheap.

Obama, on the other hand, closed with earnest, unfunny political blather that made McCain's act look funnier by comparison - audiences tend to think you're only as funny as your last joke. But the actual body of Obama's speech had a greater quality and quantity of jokes (Obama's "That One" joke, for example, took me by surprise, but I could see McCain's similar joke from miles away), and Obama had more satirical bite - his comment about Giuliani even left Bill Maher in shock.

I also wish McCain had stuck to his guns and not cut his Aristocrats joke.
