A little about the weekend

I drove up for Toyboat practice Saturday morning. Practice went well even if I felt that my energy level was a little lacking. We worked out a few new songs, including another original. Dinner was supplied by Toyboat's official caterer (aka mike46's lovely bride). We chattered till later than we should have, then I went back and collapsed on my air mattress.

I saw, according to her email newsletter, that Lojo Russo was performing at The Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival and I thought "ya know, that's a mile away from the road I am driving home on anyway, I should stop and say howdy". So I did. It also became apparent by a post from jcw_da_dmg that Merry Measure were going to be there as well. So there was some music heard, some hanging out done and much much fun had.

And I still got home around 6:30.

I watched Heroes finally, which I have to admit that I am getting a little tired of, and got to bed at a fairly reasonable time.

Some guy left a shirt at my house, I think I'll have to hold it hostage for a week.

It was so good to see you... always is. Oh, and the present? You rock! I won't be wearing it to take G. to preschool, but you'll see it at the con, most likely. ;-)
