[Poll #1239340]

Today's poll brought to you by [livejournal.com profile] shsilver, a winky button to anyone who can tell me what both of these rules are.

i think rule 42 is the cooler of the two, and has the better number. so i went with that.

I like The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Pirates myself, even if there isn't a Rule 42 listed.

Oct 42 = Dec 34.

It's mystical, I say!

Since I could not determine which Rule 42 you are refering to here (consolidation of like cases in court, definition of legal & illegal ways for sailing boats to pass each other during a race, etc), I am going with the only Rule #6 that matter: no pooftahs!

"11. Everything is air-droppable at least once."

So true -- twice if you have enough spare parts...

If Rule 42 is what I now think it is, which makes sense given Mr Silver's sense of humor, then I decree that Rule 42 is much cooler than Rule 6, which doesn't even exist.

I say this as someone who is well shorter than a mile tall, and is not at any rate currently in a courtroom regardless.

Argh!! I didn't see this until other people got to guess the rules.
Alas.
At least I still got to vote for 42. :)

I'm oddly excited that as I post this there are 6 people who voted for rule 6.

Wait, do those people exist if rule 6 doesn't exist?
