The circle

ericcolemanI made it to the filk circle fairly late ... I got sidetracked in the con suite swapping stories with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
conbarbie and a fellow whose name I forget ... since I forget everyone's name (note that I do remember the name of the babe).
I had forgotten how many great voices there are in the filk community here. Some amazing stuff, including a couple of original songs that were just breathtaking.
I did Roman Wall Blues, the "who needs to remember the words" version and WYSIWYG (again) and then headed back up here to collapse. It's a long drive home tomorrow.
I spent much of the evening wandering, so today wasn't as good as it could have been, but it's still been a nice weekend. They are moving to April next year, so I am uncertain as to whether I can make it, but I certainly want to.
I've talked with several folks from Fencon, and they want Toyboat to come down next year. It's a bit of a logistical nightmare. We've talked about it a little bit, but I don't know if we can pull it off. We'll see.
Now to bed, and tomorrow back to Iowa.
