In a tired state, wildcard9 saw today's movie quiz as being about Tim "Conway" movies.

So ... what if Tim Conway had played Frank N Furter ???

I like his work in a specific place. He was great on the Carol Burnett Show, other than that I don't like him.

First of all ... it's a JOKE ...

Second ... I saw the original stage production (after it moved from the Royal Court down to the Kings Road Theater, and I won't tell you how many times I saw it) and I saw someone who was much better than Curry. His name was Phillip Sayer, and he was astounding.

Oh wow. I've never seen that one. I own the movie, I've seen it on stage in MTL (and the guy sucked. big disappointment.)

Yeah, i think quite a few people could play that role and it'd be fantastic. Ooh... but i'd totally kill to see someone like Ian McKellan or Patrick Stewart play it. i bet it'd be fifty trillion kinds of fun.

The only role I can see Korman playing in RHPS is Nixon.

It started in the little upstairs theater in the Royal Court Theater, and had a decent run there. It then moved to a larger space down the road, where it was for some years. I think it was about a year into the run when I saw it. I never saw Curry on stage, but I saw some of the original cast here and there.

Looking at all the brains breaking here, I can see that my work for this week is already done. :-)

Okay, let's run with this: we have Tim as Frank and, as was suggested above, Harvey as Riff Raff. Let's put Carol as Magenta and Vicky as Columbia. That is all of the regular cast of the show, and we still need Brad, Janet, Dr Scott, and Eddie to cast. This will call from guest stars! Let me think for a bit and follow-up this post (suggestions are also welcome).

By the way, can Tim Conway sing at all?? I mean seriously, not in a joking manner. Vickey is definately a singer, so it is almost tempting to make her Janet just so I can hear her do Touch Me :-)
