I generally go for hot dogs myself, but frankfurters do in a pinch.

It is of no consequence to say that someone is a "Big frankfurter."

I was gonna say............neither. Hot dawg. Wit da Woiks! "I'll 'ave tree wit da woiks."

After living out of NY for nearly 25 years, and moving to a relatively less-than-suburban portion of SE NC, imagine my utter shock when of all things, a Sabrett hot dog stand goes up on the corner of my street and the US highway that runs thru town, in the parking lot of the country store/old gas station!!!!! NY Sabrett heaven, mere hundreds of feet from my house!! That blue & yellow umbrella is a beacon.........Life is good.

In a very roundabout way, since I would never use it on a hot dog, frankfurter, or weiner, this also leads to the question: Catsup or ketchup?

I usually use hotdog, but I had to answer weiner because the 12 year old boy part of me - 98% by volume - thinks weiner is funnier.

I'm not a hot dog fan, but I do enjoy The Rocky Horror Picture Show. (Occasionally.)

I will take Dr Frank N Furter over that weiner doctor any day! :-)

I have to join the 'neither' category with hotdog. I discovered a Chicago dog down here (Fort Worth area) means you can get a pickle spear and fresh tomato. Doubt they ever heard of celery salt (but now I'm supposed to be low sodium, so it doesn't matter).

Okay, but don't tell my boyfriend. I want it to be a surprise.

And don't tell my daughter either. She doesn't want any siblings and she'd be pissed.
