No realli! She was Karving her initials øn the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law -an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink"...

Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretty nasti...

One of my sweeties and I started singing that at a furry convention a few years ago and got the most amazing looks. I mean really, I didn't think it was possible to shock this crowd that easily!

And of course, "Hey look! A moose!" is a standard distraction technique in my family. We use this when we need to look at a potential gift for someone when they're with us. It does earn some odd questions from salepeople, though. At least we're used to that!

Moose and Aardvark, Aardvark and Moose. Many more moose songs and comedy bits than you would think.

Shouldn't we be choosing between Moose and Squirrel?

Melk and Oose

When Louie and I were up in the general vicinity of Homer, Alaska, hanging out with my brother on our honeymoon trip, we stopped in at some point at a classy hotel restaurant and had some elk chops. But roaming around in the vicinity of my brother's house and the cabin out back where Louie and I actually slept, there were a grown moose doe and what I can only refer to as her "teenage daughter," just kind of roaming around the area. I was amazed to realize that the vibe I got off those two was a whole lot like the vibe I would get off a human mother and daughter shopping at the mall. On the other hand, it isn't safe to get too close to a moose, even if you're trying to be friendly. So I think on the whole, "elk" is safer and tastes better.

At a furry con? Probably in the dealer's room, right next to the otter masks.

The directors of the firm hired to continue the credits after the other people had been sacked, wish it to be known that they have just been sacked.

The credits have been completed in an entirely different style at great expense and at the last minute.

Cant seem to get the direct embed for the flash player to work, so:

http://www.thesixtyone.com/KaklickMartin/collection/collection_item/4361/

(Tune is called "The Furry Lolita of Gor", may be NSFW depending on where you work, but of course none of us ever look @ LJ @ work, now do we?).

I tend to get myself in trouble w/ the Moose song once in a while too, also got someone PO'd w/ me once when I couldn't resist singing the filky version of "Winter Wonderland" - I never even conceived of the "caravan" it mentions talking about anything other than some medieval D&D sort of setting. Never made that mistake again.
