That's right - it's what cheese eats if it wants to grow up big & strong.

Some of my previous bandmates began referring to things like: "Pasteurized Process Music Food" or "Pasteurized Process Food Food".

Personally, I'd prefer not to eat anything named after "Whiz".

I always thought of Velveeta as coming in a brick, but now I'm fascinated by the loaf concept. Let's try it out:

Cheez Whiz may be inherently funnier than Velveeta, but "loaf" is funnier than "brick" by orders of magnitude.

I thought that Cheez Whiz and Velveeta were the same substance, just packaged differently (brick vs. jar). You can certainly use them interchangeably in recipes. Frankly, in mac & cheese and on nachos are the only ways I would use them...

I vote "ick" and "ick". Did you want us to vote which is more edible (neither is edible) or which is more dreadful (I'm not about to do a taste test to find out).

I suppose if you wanted my opinion on them as art supplies, and someone else was buying, I could do some experiments with carving/pasting/painting with them...

I have (thankfully very long ago).

I grew up thinking I didn't like cheese, then thinking that I didn't like cheese except for muenster and monterey jack, which my parents served to their friends at parties...eventually, I realized that I like just about ALL cheeses except for any variety of "American" and any food product that has been modified to melt smoothly, even if they call it "Cheddar". I can't stand the fake sour cream flavorings they put on chips either. I suspect I only learned to like yogurt because of its property of reliving the runs, when they have been acquired by being on antibiotics too many times for the health of one's friendly food-digesting stomach bacteria.

I plead guilty to being picky about my dairy products.

My maple syrup too--if I go to IHOP I take my own, 100% real maple syrup. Most of the servers there don't even know that the stuff most people put on their pancakes is "maple flavored" sugar syrup.
