On the home page LJ has a "writer's block" thingy. I love todays.

"If one day you meet your favorite super star, what questions you would like to do to him/her?"

I give up... How do you 'do' a question?

How are your kids? How do you keep your life "normal" for them or do you even try? I like to think that my super star "heroes" are real, run of the mill people that happen to be rich and famous. If only I fell into that category.

How did you like growing up in the limelight? What would you have changed about your growing up years?

I agree that "How do you 'do' a question?" is a valid question/criticism. And I suspect that Eric is seeing something that the rest of us don't see, and might not even be there. But even so: My favorite superstar is Paul McCartney, and I just want to have the general conversation about growing up as a left-handed bassist/guitarist, with little sidebars like: Have you ever tried to play a left-handed Fender Precision bass? With your stringed instrument playing as brilliant as it is, have you ever tried to play a left-handed drumset? (Paul plays drums right-handed, as does his fellow lefty Ringo Starr.) Have you ever had the itch to play in just a really, really ordinary weekend band, where your superstar status would have no connection whatever with the ordinary weekend crowd that showed up? And is there anybody you have always admired, but never had the chance to meet?

Nate

I suspect you and I have dirty minds, if you're thinking the same thing I am. ;-)
