To my audience today. If any of you read this. I have never had that much of a problem with one audience member. I dealt with it badly, but I really think that was the only way that I could get around it. The rest of you were wonderful.

What happened?

I finished the song Hey Dad, which references the song Puppy Love ... and a woman in the audience started talking about the Osmonds ... and would NOT quit talking about them. I tried to cut her off several times, members of the audience tried to get her to stop, and I finally had to just start the next song. She talked through the whole intro and finally shut up. It was the rudest moment in my performing career, and I played punk clubs in the 70s ...

I can usually get around stuff like that. I've played an awful lot of cons after all. But this woman would not quit. Apparently I was not the only person she did something like this to through the weekend either.
