And Star just saw it happen

If someone is going to get my name wrong (no, not call me a name, get my name wrong) they call me Chris. It has happened to me my whole life. It's happened twice this year so far.

And it just happened in the chat room at wholewheatradio.org

There is a Minnesota politician named Chris Coleman. I think he's mayor of St. Paul (not something I ordinarily track, having not lived in St. Paul in 32 years). I'm a bit surprised, though, that nobody has called you Norm yet -- Norm Coleman ia a senator of ours.

I get David. Which I would normally assume is because it is my father's name, but I get it from people who have no knowledge of my father at all.

I get Lisa, not often. It seems to come in waves.

When I hear someone else say thier name is Liz, it sounds wierd and harsh to me. Not a pretty name at all. But it feels comfortable on me. Probably just used to it.
Or I am wierd and harsh in my own mind.

I'm gonna post this in my own journal too. :)

I don't get it. You're not a Chris. You're an Eric.
