I'm astounded. Yesterday I ordered several of item #367880. Today I got them. I was impressed by the quick turnaround time, but the shipping was, well, just plain silly. These 5 items, flat piece of cardboard that fold into boxes to hold CD jewel boxes for mailings, were sent in a 1 foot by 1 foot by 2 foot box. No packing. You could fit several 100 of this item in the box. I ordered 5. This is one of the most stunningly inefficient uses of space I have ever seen. I do have to wonder if, to get a job with Staples Shipping, if one has to take an IQ test and fail?

Yours Most Sincerely A Puzzled Customer,
Eric Coleman

My best story is even better. One sheet of paper. Box marked with "prevent back injury" and "bend knees to lift."

Too bad they don't use enough packing paper when the ship the glass bottles filled with toxic liquid. At least they use plastic-coated bottle so when they break the hardly leak at all. You just get a bottle-shaped plastic thing full of broken glass and now-contaminated and useless toxic liquid.

I've gotten tons of Amazon packages like that.

they do at least fill the empty space with air filled plastic bubbles, but still...do i *really* need a 12" by 16" by 30" box to hold a router and a wireless card?
