ericcoleman: Cheshire Moon (Cheshire Moon)
Much craziness tonight, our first show in awhile, our last show for awhile. We premiered two new songs, both of which will be on The Midnight Contingent next fall (or thereabouts).

What we played tonight ...

Set One
Crowes & Consequences
Catnyp
Stream of Consciousness
If I Were The Rain
11-12 (brand new song! brand new tuning!)
Widows Garden
Calvin's Girl
Critters – Firiguard and Esler made an appearance tonight

Set Two
Don't Look Now (also a brand new song! an old tuning!)
Hot McGonagall
Disenchanted
Witch In Your Story
Sleep No More
Masters of Library Science
Snow White Red Road
Village By The Sea
Corvus
Wassail (trad, with bits of New York, New York from On The Town and Matchmaker Matchmaker)

The oddest thing, I didn't switch instruments once in the second set. Didn't change tunings either. I must be getting lazy.

The next show is Capricon, much songwriting to be done between now and then!

Thank you everyone who has made this year so wonderful in spite of the difficulties of our real lives. This has been the best year yet for Cheshire Moon. 21 shows, 2 Pegasus Awards, new friends all over the place.

On to next year now, new songs, maybe as many as 3 new CDs (since there will be summer singles) are on the way. Have a glorious holiday. Look for new demos coming soon on the webpage!
