Let me tell you about my weekend
Nov. 3rd, 2014 10:48 amWeird, a weekend with basically nothing to do.
Friday night there was the Marching Band Spectacular at the high school. Jared's last local turn with the band (they have a road trip over spring break).
Saturday was spent hanging around the house. Jared's Underdog Story band had a house concert that evening, so we went and caught their set. They were great, really great.
Yesterday, nothing much really. Lizzie and I got most of a song written. The open mike didn't happen, so we went to bed early.
This week and next weekend, much of the same. We have a chance to relax for a month and a half, then one show, then more time off until February. We hope to get most of the next CD written in that time, we'll see if we make that.
But the most important thing, time at home, kids and kitties and relaxation.
