Yeah ... nice
Dec. 16th, 2013 12:03 pmWhat a weekend. We all went to bed early on Friday and slept for about 12 hours. Everyone in the house. Lizzie and Reilly made cookies Saturday afternoon. I kept myself out of the way of the mayhem.
Saturday night Jared's band Underdog Story played two shows, one at the High School the other at The Space For Ames. They tore it up both times. I ended up running sound. Pretty easy actually, just ran the mics.
That night we slept another 10 hours.
I spent some time with the new guitar Sunday, and brought it with me to work today. I love this guitar. Even Jared was impressed.
We went out for a late lunch early dinner and took Jared back to his Mom's. We went to bed early and actually slept well for the 3rd night in a row.
Yeah, a well rested Lizzie & Eric are a little scary.
I will definitely be off from Thursday to next Thursday, I may be off this Wednesday too. My work hours have shifted a bit so I haven't had to take as many days off through the year, so I have days off left that I need to use. I like this!
This gives me time to relax, cuddle cats, catch up on TV, work on music, work on the house and relax (I may have mentioned that).
Usually I am the guy who is in the office every day at the end of they year, this is going to be nice.
