2 things

1 - A couple of my friends have done the 25 songs from your music device meme ... I have decided to not do this just because I don't need to be reminded just how odd my tastes in music are by the utter blank expression from most anyone who would look at the lyrics I post.

B - I have listened to 4 of the 5 songs we recorded this weekend. 3 of those are going on the album. They sound great. One needs to be re-recorded. I get two takes of In Crosby Park tonight when I get home to decide on which of those makes it.

16 Horsepower

How have I missed this band? Two members were in one of my favorite bands from the 80s and 90s, Passion Fodder. I bought the new CD by the lead singer of Passion Fodder, Theo Hakola, and as a bonus I got a live recording by 16 Horsepower ... Hoarse. Brilliant stuff. A wonderfully eerie take on Bad Moon Rising and a devastating take on Joy Division's Day Of The Lords as a closer. All done in this kind of gothic (not goth) swamp rock sort of style.
