Been having a nice time, as odd as that may sound. My brother and I have been having a good time hanging out. My mom's friend Erika, who took care of her in her last couple of months, fits right in ... which is just a little scary. We are having a party of sorts at her house tonight. You are all invited ... of course since we're old, and her friends are old, it is from 6-8.

tanac and her fella (is he on LJ ??? I can't remember, I thought he was ... ) and basically didn't shut up the entire time ... that comes as a surprise to all of you I am sure. I'm heading back monday, with the usual 3+ hour layover at Midway ... I can deal with it, they have wifi, and it does cost a bit, but it's worth it.
I want to thank everyone for the good wishes, the calls, the emails and everything else. You have made this time much easier.
