So ... I went to the preliminaries tonight.

I figgered that I had a good chance of being the third guy tonight.

Doug is the best of the lot and I am fairly certain that he will win the contest.
After him was Danny, who I figgered would be second. He was great tonight.

So far it was pretty much how I thought it would be.

Then after the two of them there was this guy who I hadn't seen. He did a thing with bumper stickers. A really funny roll comic. The audience ate it up.

Oh well, there are more prelims in the next few weeks.

So, the end of the evening comes on. They announce the of the three winners. This new guy. Just as I thought. Then ...

From what I found out later, Danny went over his 5 minutes and got docked points.

So I am in the finals. I have no doubt that Danny will be too. He's too good.

But, I don't have to sweat it too much till the 30th.
