And the question is

Why do I love Boheme Bistro?

It was a lovely and low key night. A young man covered Tom Waits Cold Water, his older brother (who used to be a regular) did Townes Van Zandt's Pancho And Lefty and a young woman and her Japanese teacher read poetry, some in english and some in japanese.

Put me and everyone else into a very lovely mellow mood. I stuck with that mode as much as I could.

Color Of Your Eyes - my voice was breaking a little, damn bronchitus. But it was really nice
Standards - much more laid back than I have been doing it lately, and it worked much better for it.
Hides - I did this in case, as I suspect, that they will be closed the day after christmas. I try to make it the last song I play in every circle I am in, and I thought it fitting that it be the last song that I play for the year at Boheme.

There is this small rock of sanity in this sports crazed moo-U college town. I so hope that it stays here. The town needs it. I need it.

Night all.
