Linda Sugar passed away this weekend. She was one of the nicest people I have known. I got a chance to hang out and talk to her just last weekend at 2BC. It's hard to believe that we will never do that again.

I had been out last night, and shortly after I got home my friend Anne (on her way to Chicago from Des Moines) called and told me about it.

You don't mourn a friend's passing so much as mourn that they are no longer in your life. I shall miss her sweet smile and even sweeter spirit.

RIP dear friend

I got to Boheme tonight with no idea what I was going to play, just a need to play. I couldn't make up my mind to what I was going to do. Play serious stuff, or just rant and rave and shake a little of the sadness out of my system. I kinda chose both. As soon as I got there people started asking me to play WYSIWYG. So I started serious and went from there. It felt very good. I was going to be done after 3 songs, Pete made me play more.
